Ordering & Payment
Each piece of urban dencity jewelry is handmade in our San Francisco studio. While we pride ourselves in the quick handling of your orders, some orders may take up to 7-10 days to process. Your patience is appreciated and you will be contacted when your order is ready to ship. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
We normally wait and ship all items ordered together, out on the same day. If you wish to receive any part of your order earlier, please contact us or make a note of it on your order form. Occasionally, some materials are temporarily out-of-stock; you will be alerted to any shipping delay at the time of your order. You will also be notified of any other delays beyond 10 days after placing your order.
urban dencity accepts Visa and Mastercard as forms of online payment. Please note that your credit card will be charged after placing your order. If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged until the backordered item ships. If you wish to pay via check, you can do so by calling in your order at (415)710-4562. Once we have received your check in the mail and it has been cleared, then we will process your order.If you are not comfortable ordering online:

You will receive an order confirmation number at the conclusion of your order process as well as a confirmation email, including your order number and the total amount to be charged. Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive a UPS tracking number via email.

If you placed your order through an online account with a password, you may check the status of your order at any time simply by logging in, then selecting "My Order." To check on the status of any other order, call (415)710-4562 from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST, or email us at our contact page.
urban dencity normally ships orders via UPS Ground, but we do offer the options of UPS next day air and UPS second-day air. Please make sure to select the option that best suits you. Shipping costs are based upon live estimates received directly from UPS by weight and destination address at the time the order is processed.If you are shopping the site as a retail customer, a 7.25% sales tax will be automatically applied to all California orders or 8.50% within the San Francisco County. If you are shopping the site as a wholesale customer, no tax will be applied to your final invoice.All domestic orders will be shipped insured UPS unless otherwise specified. All claims--damage or shortage--must be reported within five working days after receipt of your merchandise. Our responsibility for merchandise shipped via common carrier ceases upon delivery of the order to the carrier. We are not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in transit. You must file a claim with the delivery carrier. We would, however, be able to assist in supplying any information necessary for submission of your claim.
Please note that delivery dates are not guaranteed in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond the control of urbandencity.com (including, for example, interruptions of our transportation systems or the services provided by our carriers, your bank or credit card).
Post Office boxes
Orders sent to PO boxes can only be sent via USPS priority mail. Expedited orders cannot be sent to PO Boxes.
If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged until the backordered item ships.
Returns, Exchanges & Repairs
All urban dencity jewelry is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, let us know and we will take care of you. Please note that urban dencity does not offer refunds, but we do offer credit that can be applied towards the purchase of any items currently on our website. There are no refunds or exchanges on special orders which include altering a chain length, changing out stones or choosing an alternate leather color from what is shown. The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipment and/or call tag UPS charges for any returned merchandise. In the event, that a piece needs repair, there will be a $10 per piece repair charge, plus shipping for all merchandise purchased within 60 days. For merchandise over 60 days old, there will be a $20 per piece repair charge, plus shipping. As our merchandise changes each season, some beads or stones may not be available for repair, in which case we will make every attempt to find something comparable.
